After a car wreck, the school teacher was hurting everywhere. She was referred to a pain rehabilitation specialist and a massage therapist.
At the trial, evidence was given by the family physician and the massage therapist. Testimony stated that massage was the only treatment that helped reduce her pain. The teacher had long-term pain reduction from a 10 to a 2 level or below.
She was awarded $61k for economic damage for car and doctors' bills, and $40k for past, present and future massage.
